Wang Sun discerns a hidden agenda in the daughter's intentions but soon recognizes her potential as someone crucial for Goryeo in these challenging times. The Khitan army begins withdrawing from Gaegyeong, prompting Yang Kyu to seize the moment and launch an attack.
